One class to stop feeling lost.

Not enough to be good — nobody is, one class in. Enough that your first regular class does not feel like a test, and to decide on real information instead of nerves.

How to train safely

Tapping, pressure, and when to stop. The habits that keep you and the person across from you training again next week.

The fundamentals

The base positions and problems that every game at Identity is built on — taught from the ground up, not assumed.

How training works here

How a class runs, how to scale a game to your own level, and how to pick the classes that actually fit your week.

The curriculum everybody shares.

Core is the foundational skill set every game at Identity is built on. Coaches teach each game from the ground up and you scale it to your level, so new students move into Core after My First Jiu-Jitsu Class and experienced teammates keep sharpening here.

  1. Block 01 Weeks 1–2
  2. Block 02 Weeks 3–4
  3. Block 03 Weeks 5–6
  4. Block 04 Full base

Four two-week blocks that repeat continuously — Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. Jump in at any block; the loop comes back around.

Two blocks builds your base

Come through two blocks and you will have the confidence and the fundamentals to move into Foundations.

Can't make both nights?

Pair one Core class with a Foundations class instead. Coaches will work it around the week you actually have.

Everyone shares the same base

One curriculum means one shared language on the mat — and the same safety habits in every round.

Are you a beginner? Let us help.

You don't have to be ready. That's our job.

Most people who walk in here have never grappled. My First Jiu-Jitsu Class is built for exactly that: what to wear, how a class runs, how to train safely. Your first day on the mats should feel like a welcome, not a test.
